Thailand will allow visitors from 46 vaccinated countries against Covid-19 to leave quarantine from next month, up from 10 previously announced, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-Ocha said on Thursday.
Southeast Asian countries are ready to introduce new quarantine-free travel arrangements on November 1 for trying to revive the vital tourism industry.
Last week, Prayuth said that at least 10 countries, including Britain, Singapore, Germany, China and the United States, would be released from quarantine.
He did not give the name of additional countries at Facebook post on Thursday but said the visitors could pass the required quarantine so that they arrived through the air, it was fully vaccinated and had documents to show that they were viral free.
