Twitter is among the social networks where sports conversations occur, and in India, cricket fans roar great on this service.
According to Twitter, between July 1, 2020-1 July 2021 there were more than 75 million conversations about cricket on the platform in this country.
Some fans use services as a second screen during the match – they live-tweet, follow the real time comments, watch highlight videos, and discuss ball-by-ball updates from fields.
To improve the experience of the fan, Twitter has launched a live score card and tested what he called the first Twitter community in the country – Cricket Twitter – India.
How to ‘Cricket Twitter’ will translate the match, Scorecard will appear on the Explore Tab and Live Event page.
Fans will be able to follow the score from the match in real-time, while scrolling tweets.
This means that when fans on Twitter will be able to engage in real time conversations.
Scorecard will be available to everyone in India on iOS and also the web and will launch most people on Android.
Twitter said that it also tested its first community outside the US dedicated to Indian cricket fans called Cricket Twitter – India to talk about all the things cricket in many Indian languages.
The community began testing in the US in September this year as a way for people to find and connect with other people who want to talk about the same thing as them.
They can now only be accessed through invitations.
How does the community work? The community begins and managed by people on Twitter – moderators who enforce the rules of society and continue to converse informative, relevant, and fun.
People who accept invitations to join the community are members and will be able to invite others alternately.
When you join a community, you can tweet directly to the audience, not to all your followers.
While community tweets are available to the public, only members in the same community can reply and join conversations so that they remain intimate and relevant.
As with general tweets, anyone can read, quotes tweets, and reports community tweets.
Currently the community can be accessed through the invitation only on iOS, web and Android cellular browsers, with access in Android applications and more functions that will come soon.
Anyone who globally can be invited to join the community through direct messages.
Supporting healthy conversations in the community⦁ All communities and members must follow the Twitter rules.
Members and non-members of the community can report potential violations of rules for Twitter.
⦁ All moderators must continue to meet the feasibility requirements, including not violating Twitter rules.
