Mumbai: City water supply will be affected for a 24-hour period on October 26 and October 27 due to improvement proposed to be carried out by BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) at the Bhandup complex water pump station and also in Pise Panjprapur.

Citizenship officials said that there was a replacement work of two permissary valves with a diameter of 1200mm at the 1910 MLD pump station complex Bhandup and also the work of Stadium III pump replacement in Pise Panjrapur Complex.

Maintenance work will begin on October 26 at 10 am and it will be completed on October 27 at 10 am.
There will be 15 percent of water cuts in the city and suburbs on October 26 between 10am – 10:00.
In addition, there is a proposed job to catch leakage in Powai.
Therefore, there will be no water supply in the field of K / EAST, S, G / North and Hard H / East.
Some parts of the K / East Ward which will be affected include Chakala, Prakash Wadi, Ramkrishna Mandir Road, JB Nagar, Bagarka Road, Temporary Nagar Kanti in G / North Ward, Dharavi Main Road, Jalan Temple of Ganesh and at H / East Ward.
The Bandra Terminal area will leave without a water supply.
“All citizens with this are asked to store water and work with BMC,” said civil society officials.
