“In a private hospital, the number of patients received with dengue fever has been high during the rainy season this year.
It goes down in the past few weeks, but can again appear in winter,” said a doctor from a private hospital in South Mumbai.
At BMC hospital, 257 cases of dengue fever were treated in September, such as against 154 in October so far.
A BMC senior doctor said adequate arrangements have been made on post health, pharmacies and hospitals for the treatment of infectious diseases.
