Ahmedabad: City reported a 21-day high with nine new Covid-19 cases registered on Saturday.
The number is more than double the four on Friday, with two cases on Thursday.
Overall, the country recorded 24 new cases, which was slightly lower than 25 reported on Friday.
New cases in this country include nine of the city of Ahmedabad, five of Valsad, four of the city letters, two of each from Navsari and Letters, and each of Junagadh and Kheda respectively.
The city contributed 54% of new cases and the southern district also contributed 52% of cases.
With the disposal of 21 patients, the number of active cases in the country rose three to 168.
Now, there are 46 active cases in Valsad, 32 in Ahmedabad, 24 in Navsari, and 17 in Navsari.
South Gujarat Regency-District contributed 52% of the case, while Ahmedabad contributed 19%.
The number of patients in the ventilator increased to five.
The vaccination trend remains equal to 72,028 the first dose and 2.28 lakh the second dose is managed in the last 24 hours.
