Coimbatore: A 55-year-old doctor who works at the primary health center in the Tirupur district died of Covid complications on Tuesday.
Dr.
Arul Raj worked as a medical officer under Tirupur Corporation at the new Urban Ramakrishnapuram Health Center.
Dr Arulraj is a native of Tuticorin.
According to senior health officials, Dr.
Arul Raj died on Tuesday at the Rajaji Government Hospital in Madurai.
Dr.
Arul Raj fell ill in the last week of September and left the job.
He was treated at the Themi Government Hospital where he tested Covid-19’s positive.
He then shifted to the Madurai government hospital for treatment where he died without responding to treatment on Tuesday.
The body was brought to Tuticorin for the last rite.
