Vasco: Illegal emergency tents founded by boat operators and water sports on Baina Beach were removed on Thursday after complaints by a NGO.
The tent was built without permission from the authorities and was built in the coastal regulatory zone (CRZ), said NGO member Parshuram Sonurlekar.
This tent evokes controversy in Vasco and gets attention because this is not the first time the warehouse has emerged without permission.
Head of Mormugao (MMC) Municipal Board officer Jayant Tari sent the inspector to the violation site but the tent was removed before the team arrived.
