Jaipur: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday found assets worth more than Rs 10 Crore during searches at various locations of executive engineers at Sirohi.
ACB DG Soni said the Bureau intelligence unit had received information about the alleged disproportionate assets accumulated by Ramesh Chand Barada executive engineers.
During the initial investigation, assets for RS 10.42 Crore songs were excavated, namely 334% more than the source of its known income.
“We have found property, crusher machines, two checks,” said Soni.
Searches are made in five different locations from engineers.
“The initial estimate of non-proportional assets engineers was almost rs 10.42 crore.
The case is currently being investigated,” said an official.
TNN officials also found that engineers have invested in educational institutions and are investigating their investments in other assets.
“Engineers are under the scanner for the past three months.
We have long been suspicious that he was involved in collecting unauthorized assets,” the official said.
“He has a large nature worth some crores.
In addition, he also has several cars,” the official said.
Rajasthan ACB said that the process of assessment was ongoing and the total value of assets could also increase.
“He just moved to Dungarpur.
The ACB intelligence wing has found a trail of suspicious money.
We decided to verify it by searching the locations,” the official said.
ACB hasn’t determined how Barada came to get all these assets.
However, the source said that the next investigation would reveal the official method to collect a large number of alleged illegal wealth.
