Agra: The lawyer association in Agra has refused to provide legal assistance to the three Kashmir students who were assigned with incitement after they allegedly cheered by Pakistan against India in the T-20 World Cup match, forcing the family to approach supporters in other cities.
Advocate Madhuvan Dutt Chaturvedi (which fought against the 26-year-old Schd Schd case atiq-ur Rehman, Masood Ahmad and Mohammad Alam – who was ordered for incitement and under the UPA after they were arrested along with the Siddique Kappan journalist when they will meet the family of a girl in 19 years old In Hathras suspected of gangraped and killed) has agreed to defend students.
Lawyers, meanwhile, issued a statement that no assistance will be given to “those who fight the country”.
The President of the Agra Advocate Association, Sunil Sharma, said students must focus on their studies instead of “indulging anti-national activities”.
“They are not worthy of legal assistance from us,” he said.
