SANSA: Voting for Bypoll to the Constituency of Ellenabad Assembly in Haryana began on Saturday morning, officials said.
Polling starts at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm, they added.
Bypoll needed by Inld leader Abhay Singh Chautala has resigned as a MLA from the chair in January of the Central Agriculture Act.
More than 1.85 Lakh voters will decide the fate of the 19 candidates in Fray to Bypoll.
A total of 211 polling booths were arranged, and 121 of them were categorized as vulnerable and most vulnerable, officials said.
Strict security settings have been made for Bypoll with the spread of 30 central security force companies, five companies from the power of fast action and police Haryana.
Gobind Kanda, Brother of Haryana Lokhit Party Chief and Legislator Gopal Kanda, joined BJP recently and had been revealed by BJP-JJP Combine.
Beniwal Pawan, who did not succeed in fighting for the previous assembly poll against Abhay Chautala, recently switched from BJP to Congress.
He was in a commotion as the main opposition party candidate.
Abhay Chautala, Beniwal and Kanda are being considered the main candidate.
The main part of the Ellenabad Assembly constituency is rural with people who mostly rely on agriculture.
Vote counting will take place on November 2, officials said.
