Chandigarh: The meeting on the reopening of all Panjab University departments was held on Friday.
The committee was based on reviewing situations that were decided to open more departments starting November 1.
The department to open now includes the Institute of Technical and Technology University, Cum National Center Department for Human Genome Studies and Research, Computer Science and Application Department, Environmental Studies Department, Mathematics Department, Microbial Biotechnology Department, Department of Microbiology, Statistics Department, Institute of Forensic Sciences and The Criminology and Fashion Technology Institute and the University’s vocational development will be opened for graduate students who qualify.

Approval from parents has been made mandatory for this.
Students have been advised to get themselves fully vaccinated or provide a negative RPCR report that is no more than 72 hours.
One room will be given to students and rooms will be allocated based on achievement.
Facilities such as canteen, living room, tailor and selective shops at Hostel PU will not be provided up to further orders.
No one from outside the hostel will be permitted at Hostel PU until the order further.
