Written by news2in

Kanpur: For the first time since the first Metro match arrived in the industrial city last month, a trial was conducted on Saturday night on the main route (main metro line) between Depot and Kanpur Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station (University of Kanpur).
It’s also the first time when the Metro flaged from the depot and ran on the main line.
At the beginning of the week, testing was done by running the Metro train inside the depot.
Testing and trials have begun before the Kanpur Metro formal test scheduled to be held in mid-November.
The Kanpur Metro Court will be carried out under the supervision of RDSO experts (design research and standard organizations).
After RDSO approval, the Safety Commissioner of Metro Rail (CMR) will conduct a final inspection before the official launch of the Metro service for the people.
If everything goes according to the UPMRC set plan, the Metro service can be launched for people at the end of December or early January.
The first set of Metro Kanpur moved from the depot and headed to Geeta Nagar and paused afterwards after it went to the Kanpur Metro station Vishvavidyalaya and returned to the depot.
At present speed, less than 10 km / hr.
Metro was driven by pilots and was accompanied by the Rolling Stock Department of UPMRC officials who continued to observe various parameters while Metro was in process.
Metro staff excited when the first metro set moved.
Three train coaches rose to the incline while moving from the depot and slowly headed to Geeta Nagar.
At this time, the Metro staff was excited for the fact that this was the day they waited after the Metro work began in the city two years ago.
It should be mentioned that the Metro Development Work has begun in November 2019 and exactly two years, Metro services are almost a reality.
In the next two months, ordinary people will be able to ride the metro and have a ride.
This metro in the coming days will run on the route of nine kilometers between IIT and Motijheel.
The nine km route has nine metro stations – all elevated.
On this nine kilometer lane, six Metro trains will run, while two Metro trains will still be back-up.
Each Metro train has three trainers and the capacity to maintain 974 passengers.
At present, the Depot is a housing two Metro train coming from Gujarat late last month.
