Rome: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday exchanged views with Indonesian President Joko Widodo about a comprehensive bilateral strategic partnership, trade, economy and people-to-people, when they met on the sidelines of the G20 KTT here.
Modi also congratulated Indonesia for the presidency of its G20 next year and convinced Indian support as part of the Troika Presidency (preceding, and entry G20), the external ministry said in a tweet.
“Nice to meet President @Jokowi earlier today.
Discussing existing Indian-Indonesian cooperation areas and new balls where our countries can work together for the benefit of our citizens and the entire planet,” said Prime Minister Modi in a tweet.
Both leaders discuss comprehensive strategic partnerships, including trade, investment and people-to-people.
