After contact, state food laboratories confirm that they only accept supervision samples and no legal samples collected this year.
The Head of the State Food Laboratory, Dr.
Chamaturbhuj Meena, said: “We do not get legal samples for testing and all legal samples are sent to the National Food Testing Laboratory in Kolkata.” Because asked whether they received a sample from Ranchi for testing, Dr.
Meena said that the number of samples had fallen because there was a labor crisis.
“We have a labor crisis and according to my information, food security officers from Ranchi have left their jobs.
So it has influenced the collection of samples.” The source in Ranchi T administration confirmed that food security cells had collected around 15 samples in September but after officers Food security left his job, no one collected samples since then.
SDO is a nodal official for the collection and testing of samples for forgery and since Ranchi’s food security officer left his job, no one went for a collection of samples.
