Microsoft is reported to work on a new security hub for the Windows 11 operating system, according to the latest Windows reports.
Dubbed as Microsoft Defender, the new Hub Security will provide users of comprehensive security details and report on accounts and their devices connected in one location such as security dash.
This feature is not fully new because Windows 10 and 11 have displayed Windows security applications that allow users to overcome some security details including malware protection, browser protection, firewalls and more.
However, according to the report, Microsoft’s new defender is likely to display Windows 11 Winui and fluently with an easy-to-use interface that matches the appearance and nuances of Windows 11.
The official store description found in .Mixbundle from a further application revealed Microsoft also plans to expand Microsoft Defender outside the Windows operating system.
.
Msix files from this application have an Android icon, iPhone and Mac too.
This indicates that the defender application can display details about the connected device running another operating system.
The website has also mentioned that new applications may not replace existing Windows security applications and function the same as the Dashboard application to provide complete insights about the health and security of devices.
It should also be noted that there are changes that Microsoft may request a Microsoft 365 account for the dashboard feature to work.
It is recommended to take all information about the new Microsoft Defender application with a pinch of salt because the information is based on leakage details and no one is confirmed by the company now.
