Lucknow: BSP crashed into the head of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav on Monday for talking about Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Jawaharlal Nehru and Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the same breath and alleged that there was a “collusion” between SP and BJP.
In a tweet in Hindi, Head of the Bahujan Party Summons (BSP) Mayawati accused Yadav’s statement about Jinnah and the BJP response to him was part of a well-thoughting strategy from both parties to give birth to the atmosphere on Hindu-Muslim lines in front of Uttar Pradesh assembly selection .
“Politics of SP and BJP complements each other, while when BSP is in power, BJP becomes weak,” he added.
Yadav praised the praise at Patel on the 146th birthday at a public meeting at Hardoi on Sunday, but raised his eyebrows when he seemed to equalize four leaders, including Jinnah, founder of Pakistan.
“Sardar Patel, the father of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Jinnah studied at the same institute and became a lawyer.
They helped (India) get freedom and never retreat from the struggle,” he said.
The SP head also refers to the ban imposed on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) by Patel, Minister of Home Union, after the murder of Gandhi in 1948, said only he could do it.
