New Delhi: A 52-year-old businessman was shot dead near his hotel which was suspected of monetary disputes in the Southwest Delhi Mahipalpur area, said the police on Monday.
Krishan, friend, a resident of Gurugram Haryana, sustained a shoot injury near his left temple, they said.
The police said Sehrawat had a hotel in Mahipalpur which he had given rent for Roshan Mishra about 10 months ago.
The victim has a dispute with Mishra over non-payment of the number of rent and postponing electricity bills.
Both parties have known each other for someday, they said.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Gaurav Sharma said Mishra and his colleagues were the main suspects in the case and effort to track them.
According to Sharma, the North Vasant Police Station received a call on Sehawat who was shot on Sunday at around 11pm.
What was injured was brought to the center of a spinal injury but was declared dead by a doctor, he added.
Introduction Investigations revealed that Senafawat and Mishra had a fight on delayed electricity bills and the number of rent last week.
The victim asked Mishra to pay a delayed bill and resolve the number of rent but Mishra did not cleanse one of them, the officer said.
The police said Mishra should pay Rs Lima Lakh and on Sunday night.
Sehrawat met Mishra and her colleagues at the hotel.
They also consumed liquor together, police said.
One of the CCTV records accessed by the Investigation Team showed that Senpawat went with Mishra and his colleagues outside the hotel after they met in the hotel, the officer said.
“When they reached near the parking lot, both as preached and Mishra went into the heated argument and they allegedly shot the victim on the left side of the temple area of his head and fled the place,” he said.
More CCTV recordings were being scanned to ensure the right sequence of events and routes taken by the defendant to escape, police said.
