Bhubaneswar: Furthermore, those who died because Covid-19 can submit ex-Gratia payments of 50,000 rs to the district collectors and city commissioners from November 3.
Compensation will be paid within 30 days after the application, officials said.

The IT department has developed an application called Caps (Covid-19 Ex-Gratia System) for online approval and transferring direct benefits to applicant bank accounts.
One can register both offline (physically or by post) and online (https://caps.odisha.gov.in) using the application form specified and send evidence of Covid-19 death, document to establish nok with the almarh account and a detailed bank .
In five days of any application, the collector’s office will send it to Tehsildars.
Tehsildar will verify the application and continue the same as the sub-collector in a week which in turn will continue the same to the district judge with their comments in four days.
ADMS must delete the same thing within four days while the collectors will approve in four more days.
While the bill will be produced within three days after that and the amount will be credited to the beneficiary bank account that meets the requirements in three days.
Each district will appoint Nodal officers to deal with ex-gratia problems.
After submitting the application form, someone can track online status using the application number.
According to the central guidelines, anyone who tests the positive Covid-19 and dies in a month will be considered a Covid death regardless of whether the death occurs outside the hospital or during hospitalization.
To utilize compensation, one must get the official document for Covid-19 death by registering with the district collector.
Noks of all Covid died because Covid’s death was first reported in the country and until Covid de-was told because the disaster was eligible for compensation, it was decided by the center after the Supreme Court’s direction on October 4.
