Coimbatore: A police officer who was fired was arrested by red hands while he stole valuables from a house locked in Senthil Nagar near Karumathampatti in the Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu during the early hours of Tuesday.
R Muneeswaran, 35, from Thiruppuvanam in Sivaganga District, removed from the service after he was arrested for cellphone theft cases and motorbikes in 2019.
He was involved in two cases grabbed the chain at the recruitment school (PRS) in the last coimbatore of the year.
He was arrested by the Police Inspector of the Sujatha Race Course.
The police source said that Muneeswaran came out with a guarantee a few months ago.
Around 12:45 a.m.
on Tuesday, Muneeswaran and other people broke the house of K Nirmala, 38, Senthil Nagar in Krishnapuran in Karumathampatti.
Nirmala used to go to her mother’s house located nearby to sleep and return in the morning.
A neighbor finds a thief at Nirmala’s house and tells all the neighbors by telephone.
Karumathampatti police are also informed by residents.
Thieves steal laptops and digital cameras from home.
Duo tried out of the house and watched the public surrounding the house.
The duo jumped over a compound wall and tried to escape.
However, the public arrested Muneeswaran with red hands while other thieves fled.
The police also reached the place.
They brought Muneeswaran to the police station.

The initial question revealed that Muneswaran was recruited as a police officer and posted in the Special Police of Tamil Nadu (TSP) in Kovaipur in Coimbatore in 2011.

He was involved in motorcycles and cellular phone theft.
He was stopped from the service in December 2019.
He became a construction worker and an alcoholic.
He lived in a rented house and separated from his wife who was the police chief with TSP, Kovaipur.
In November 2020, Muneeswaran took the gold chain from the police police in the place of homework when he was walking around.
