Bhubaneswar: BJP on Tuesday announced to launch a campaign called ‘Light a Lamp’ in Diwali to seek justice for the female teacher who was killed by Mamita Meer.
Come after the Congress announced the ‘Odisha Bandh’ on November 12 which was urgent for the Minister of State for the resignation of Shankar Mishra about this issue, showing two national parties did not have a mood in the near future.
Overcoming news conferences, BJP President Samir Mohanty launched a BJP ‘light’ campaign postter and appealed to all crore families in Odisha to turn on additional lights to ensure justice for the teacher on Thursday on Thursday.
“Living a woman in danger under the BJD government.
Crime against women increases rapidly,” Samir said.
Satya Prakash Congress spokesman Nayak said that the party would give 10 days to the government to solve Mishra’s Minister before holding Bandh Odisha on November 12 and intensified further protest if the government did not act.
“It does not bring ministers under the scope of the probe means helping to destroy evidence,” he said.
Youth Congress workers took a rally in Kuchinda, protesting the silence of the Naveen Patnaik minister in the murder case to coincide with CM visits to Sambalpur Regency.
BJD said the probe was on track.
“The BJD stand is very clear.
The law takes its own way.
The main accusations have been arrested and the police continue to investigate,” said BJD MP Sujeet Kumar.
Mishra previously issued a statement begging her innocence.
BJP and Congress have staged protests for more than 20 days since October 20 demanding the resignation of the Minister of Junior House and to bring it under the scope of the probe.
The rival parties have accused Mishra has a close relationship with the murder accused of Gobinda Sahu and has tried to mediate between Sahu and Mamita for their differences.
The police have arrested Gobinda, the founder of the Sunshine English School in the district of the district where Mamita (24), the native of Balangir Regency, worked, and Radhirnya for October 8.
