Chandigarh: Chandigarh District Court has given a 10-year prison to a female teacher to abuse a 14-year-old boy, who used to take tuition fees from him.
The court also imposed a fine of RS 10,000 at convicted.
Police Chandigarh has arrested the teacher on May 24, 2018, about complaints from the boy’s parents after registering cases under Section 6 (penetrative sexual attacks) protection of children from the acts of sexual violations (Pocso).
The boy’s parents filed a complaint of the police after the child revealed a crime before an advisor an NGO.
The family and boy families know each other.
The boy and his sister had begun to take a college from the woman in September 2017.
According to the police complaint, after some time, the woman asked the boy’s parents to send their daughter to tuition separately so she could focus on their son.
When parents do that, the woman’s teacher began to abuse her sexually.
In March 2018, the boy involved him to go for tuition, followed where the teacher locked the boy at his home before his parents and her husband.
The boy was saved with the help of a neighbor.
