T’puram: The country witnessed 7,312 positive cases of 69,680 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among the new cases detected, 6.201 people had taken vaccinations, 2,904 had taken both doses, and 1,857 did not even take a single vaccine dose.
The current total active case is 73,083, where 7.7% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, 51 Covid deaths were reported, taking dead in the country to 32,598.
At the same time, 8,484 patients have recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 6,813 cases have been infected through local deployment.
Infection contact sources cannot be traced to 415.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the highest number of cases with 1,099, followed by Ernakulam (1,025).
There are 2,61,090 people currently observing in various districts, where 2.56,032 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 5,058 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 115 wards in 77 local bodies have more than 10% wipr.
