Ahmedabad: Governor Gujarat Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Thursday extend greetings for Diwali and New Year Gujarati for people in the state.
People are seen entering the market in various places in the state to buy new clothes, candy and firecrackers.
“Hopefully this Diwali Festival is illuminated by the light of the twinkling and new year lights brings happiness, prosperity, and new energy in everyone’s life,” Governor Tweeted.
The minister’s chairman also extended greetings for Diwali and New Year Gujarati, who fell a day after Diwali, to the citizens of the country and family Gujarati throughout the world.
Festivals and celebrations bring freshness and new awareness in the community, Patel said in a statement.
The minister’s chairman said the diwali lights were a symbol of positive prospects, and hoped that the festival became a positive flare for the masses, the release from the office of the minister of the chairman.
Senior leaders in various political parties were also taken to social media to expect people on that occasion.
“At this Deepawali Holy Festival, hopefully the life of everyone is filled with light.
Hopefully your life will be blessed with happiness, peace, progress, prosperity, humanity and good wealth,” President of Congress Chavda Tweeted.
Country BJP President C R Paatil tweeted his greetings in Gujarati, by saying, “Warm greetings for Gujarat people to get courage such as lights to fight the endless darkness.
Happy Gods.”
