Google messages may get new features that will allow users to send good quality photos using Google photos where the RCS feature is not available.
9To5Google has reported that the Teenardown of Google SMS / RCS APK version 10.4 reveals a new option to allow sharing photos via Google Photos via SMS / MMS.
Setting preferences dubbed as Google photos: Share a sharper clarity video in the text (SMS / MMS).
The setting description highlights the fact that the recipient can get a Google Photos link that can be clicked for watching videos.
Another fact shown by the website is the ability to watch Google’s video videos right in the application of the chat window.
The implementation of iOS devices may be slightly different and the user might need to open the Google Photos link in the browser.
Although it may not be an innovative idea to share videos using Google photos, but certainly useful.
Some brands already have the option such as sharing a Samsung link where users can choose several photos or videos and make a link to share with other people through the preferred channel.
Similar options are available with Google photos too.
However, in both cases, users need to manually create a link by visiting the application.
With features that are integrated directly into the Google Message application, the first party solution from Google itself will be a very good addition to the application and it will make everything easier for users to share videos between iPhones.
