Wroclaw (Poland): Young Indian Shooting Ace Saurabh Chaudhary claims the silver medal at the 10m water pistol event from the ISSF Preisdent Cup on Saturday.
Chaudhary shot a total of 24 in the gold medal contest, while his compatriot Abhishek Verma settled for a bronze medal at the event.
Christian Reitz Germany won a gold medal with a total score of 34.
Christian dominated the final, finishing with a score of 34 with Saurabh quite far behind 24.
Verma won a bronze medal with a second score of five shots 21.
The Iranian Olympic champion Javed Fowi finished fourth in the event .
Javad was first removed in fourth place after the first five shot series.
The final consists of three series of five shots.
Chaudhary has also finished second to Reitz in the first semifinals 24-25 to make the final.
Verma has won the second semifinal on Javad 27-24 to make a medal ronde.
Indians previously made the top eight by completing the third and fourth among 12 shooters in the first qualifying round, with the shooting of Chaudhary 581 and Verma Feating 580.
In the 10m water of the water gun, the gold medalist of the Youth Olympiad ended like the semifinal 1 with 23.
Cup President Issf Perdana is the RECRILITY version of the ISSF World Cup final, where the top 12 athletes this year according to the world ranking are invited to determine the best individual athletes this year at their respective Olympic events.
Individual winners will be given a gold target along with gift money.
The cash award will also be given to all athletes in individual competitions.
