Coimbatore: The original 50-year-old Kavundampalayam, who was punished in the case of murder and nested in the central prison of Coimbatore, died on Friday.
The police identified as G Manoharan.
“He was arrested for involvement in the case of the theft-killings that occurred in 2016.
He suffered from diabetes and heart problems.
His condition deteriorated on Thursday and the prison doctor gave him first aid.
He shifted to the convicted ward at the College Medical Coimbatore Hospital where He died on Friday, “said a police officer.
Police racing courses registered the case and conducted an investigation.
