Mumbai: Chairman of the Train and CEO of Sunete Sharma who visited Mumbai on Sunday traveled with a second grade compartment from the suburban train on the West train and interacted with passengers to get their responses to their train services.

He also launched an integrated Command and Control Center and examined Urban Pod – a country sleeping POD for passengers in Mumbai Central.
The new Unified Command Center integrates all digital control spaces, including signals, power systems, and thousands of CCTV.
It has unlimited facilities for disaster management with streaming information on almost every aspect of relevance, including floods, rainfall, entry without permission, and communication with various institutions.
“This helps long distance management and problem solving more than 2,700 CCTV networks are being developed under an integrated surveillance system in the suburban system of Mumbai,” said the Chief of WR Sumit Thakur.
