Oppn Lashes Out in Govt for Tree Founding Permits

Thiruvananthapuram: The opposition has fallen a lot from the controversial order given by the state government that allows Tamil Nadu authorities to cut trees in Baby Dam near Mullasyar.
The opposition has explained that such orders cannot be issued at the level of bureaucracy without the knowledge of the minister’s office.
Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala said the office of the minister’s chairman was behind this command and “claims that they did not realize it could not be trusted”.
The government cannot escape from the responsibility of this order by blaming the entire bureaucrate, he said.
KPCC President K Sudhakan said that the minister’s chairman was responsible for issuing the controversial order.
“No one believes that the government is stored in the dark when issuing such orders.
If a minister claims that he is not aware, it is possible.
But a very important decision will be taken with the approval of the minister’s chairman.
There is a need for judicial investigations behind the order controversial, “said Sudhakanan.
Former Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources NK Premachandran said such decisions could not be taken without the approval of the minister’s chairman and must be understood that political decisions were also behind making so important decisions.
“This decision will only weaken all claims made by the state when this case occurred before the Supreme Court on November 11.
The state has truly gave up before Tamil Nadu by making such decisions,” Premachandran said.
If the forestry department has made such a decision, it must be understood that they are forced to make such decisions under someone’s influence.
It must be believed that the state government tried to hide such orders and because of a statement issued by the Chairman of the Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin which we can know about such decisions, he added.
