PUDUCHERRY: Minister of Education Puducherry A Namassivayivayam on Sunday announced that the reopening of the school, both the government and managed personally, had been postponed considering the rain was unrelenting in the Union region.
He said in the release after holding a discussion with the Ministry of Education officials that the continuous rain was a direct reason to delay the date of reopening of the school for grade 1 to 8.
The government will soon announce a new date to reopen the school for these classes.
Namassivayam said the holiday was declared for grade 9 to 12 on November 8 and 9.

The government has announced a few days ago that all schools will continue the class for students 1 to 8 tomorrow.
