Patna: The State Social Welfare Department will begin a new initiative, ‘Bal Darbar, Hamar Darbar’, in relation to UNICEF on the ‘Janata Darbar’ line.
Children and adolescents will get the opportunity to place their complaints before people’s representatives, district judges and related senior department officials in ‘Bal Darbar’.
‘Bal Darbar’ will be organized in 29 districts from 14 to 20 November during the Child Rights Security Week.
The orientation program is held in this case on Friday.
Assistant Director of the Social Welfare Department, Alok Ranjan, said complaints of children and adolescents would be forwarded to policy makers.
Initially, 30 to 40 children and adolescents from various social groups would be able to improve various problems related to their district.
