NEW DELHI: French portal Mediapart on Monday claimed in a new report that he has evidence of bribes paid by the French aircraft manufacturer Dassault Aviation to help secure the sale of 36 Rafale fighter jets to India.
Mediapart has alleged that false invoices used to enable Dassault Aviation to pay at least 7.5 million euros (nearly Rs 65 crore) in secret commissions to middlemen Sushen Gupta.
Sushen Gupta was previously arrested for alleged bribery in the deal AgustaWestland.
Media Portal further alleged that the CBI and the ED has evidence of bribes paid since October 2018 but did not pursue the matter.
A report on the website Medipart said :.

this is in the context of the long French company and the effort finally managed to secure a 7.8 billion-euro -kesepakatan 2016 to sell 36 Rafale fighters to India.
” Mediapart, had in April, published a report to reveal how influential business intermediary India secretly paid millions of euros by the manufacturer of the Rafale Dassault Aviation and the French defense electronics company Thales.
They succeeded in removing the anti-corruption clause of the contract signed by the fighter then later the French defense minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, the report claimed.
Citing the Mediapart report, BJP leader Amit Malviya said: “The UPA is collecting bribes but could not close the deal NDA then removed it and enter into a contract with the French government, Rahul Gandhi endless angry ?.” Congress has yet to react to the latest Mediapart report.
