Mumbai: Bombay High Court on Monday Minister of Construction of the State Minority was directed by Nawab Malik to reply to the lawsuit of defamation submitted by officers of the Narcotics Control Bureau Sameer Wankhede.
“If you give a reply on Twitter, then you better submit a reply here,” said Justice Madhav Jamdar when senior advocate Atul Damle, for Malik, was looking for more time to submit a reply.
The judge directed the reply to be submitted on Tuesday and posted the trial on Wednesday.
This lawsuit was submitted by Dhyandev Wankhede (72) to stop Malik from slandering his family.
He also looked for RS 1.25 Crore compensation from Malik for “unreasonable losses, damage, danger, prejudice on the name, character, reputation and social image of the Plaintiff and his family members.” “Every day there is something or other posted.
That is why coat defamation along with an interim application for commands,” Advocates Wankhede Arshad Shaikh submitted “He should not post anything and further create problems,” he added.
Shaikh shows that Malik has taken a press conference on Sundays and on Monday it has tweeted about Brother-in-law Sameer Harshada.
Damle objected that Wankhede had filed a lawsuit in the behalf of adult children.
“He supports the cause of his children,” he said.
But Justice Jamdar said Wankhede had filed a lawsuit as a father for the family.
Shaikh said, “You (Malik) called me Dawood.
‘Wear Louis Vuitton.'” This is a common perception because of tweets, “said Shaikh.
Damle replied,” someone else’s response to tweets, you are associated with me (Malik).
“When Damle Urged for 2-3 days for Malik’s files Reply, Jamdar justice then reminded that his client who posted on Twitter can submit a reply to the Wankhede lawsuit.
