New Delhi: With President of RAM Nath Kovind presented the Padma Awards to 73 people, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday, he was very happy to see the level of grassroots recognized for their example efforts to be better.

Modi often states that its government has opened the process of selecting Padma appreciation and recognizes people’s services from humble backgrounds.
Of the 73 recipients, four were given Padma Vibhushan, eight Padma Bhushan and 61 Padma Shri Awards for 2020, according to a statement issued by the President’s Office.
