Imphal: An earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale struck Shirui in Manipur on Tuesday.
According to the national center for seismology (NCS), the tremor was felt by 62 Kilometers northeast of Shirui at a depth of 60 kilometers.
“Earthquake magnitude: 3.8, occur on 2021/09/11, 09:47:22 Ist, Lat: 25,45 & Length: 94.93, Depth: 60 km, location: 62km TL from Shirui, Manipur,” NCS tweeted at 10:03 on Tuesday.
So far, there are no victims reported.
