Google has warned Chrome users who still use a longer web browser version.
If you still use the Chrome version of the M48 browser version or before you will not be able to use Chrome synchronization once the company launches the stable version of M96.
For those who do not know, Chrome synchronization features on the browser save passwords, bookmarks, search history, open tabs and preferred settings on the company’s server.
This feature helps you access all information stored on various devices using the same Google account.
It also helps you automatically enter Gmail, YouTube, and other Google services.
As per the blog post by Chrome Support Manager, Craig, the feature no longer works on a longer browser version.
“As shared earlier in the release of the Chrome company release for M94, we want to tell anyone using the Chrome M48 or lower browser version that Chrome Sync will be lowered on this version, and will no longer work after the M96 launches on a stable channel.
Using Chrome Sync, please update your browser to the chrome version of M49 or higher, “read the blog post.
