Trichy: After seven years, the State Highway Department has succeeded in obtaining permission permission from the Ministry of Defense to complete the Trichy Junction Road Overbridge (Rob) that stands incomplete in the desire of the defense.
Work permission to complete one of Rob’s arms is given on the condition that the Tamil Nadu government will create the same value infrastructure for defense with a 0.66 hectare land reward located near Mannarpuram.
Defense land is appreciated by Rs 8.45 Crore.
The development was delivered to the state highway only after the President of India had given its agreement.
About 134 meters long sleeve Rob connects Trichy-Chennai NH with the rest of the elevated structure remains incomplete.
Another arm of Rob was opened for traffic in July 2018.
The state highway could take six months to complete the delayed part of Rob.
