New Delhi: The Ministry of Health of the Union has requested all government departments and facilities such as hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies and their doctors to register for a dedicated registration under the digital mission Ayushman Bharat.
In a letter to the Secretary of all the departments and the Director of the Center of All Hospital Central, Union Secretary of Union Rajesh Bhushan suggested government health facilities to obtain and install the Health / Hospital Information Management System (HMIS), also known as Hospital Information Systems (Him) , at their facility to produce digital health records.
The government has decided that all of its health facilities must participate in the Ayushman Bharat – ABDM digital mission (formerly known as the National Digital Health Mission – NDHM), which was launched nationally by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, the letter said.
Thus, all government facilities (hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies, radiology centers, etc.) where each health service provided is requested to register in the Registry Health Facility (HFR), under ABDM.
Registration of all doctors who work full time or part-time for the facility must be carried out on the Professional Healthcare (HPR) registry below Abdm, the letter sent on November 9 said.
“For effective digitization of health care in India, health care providers need to start producing digital health records.
To facilitate this, government health facilities are advised to buy and install the Health / Hospital Information Management System (HMIS), also known as home information systems Pain (property), in their facilities.
The selected solution must be obedient to Abdm, “the letter stated.
The government also provides two such solutions that are recommended for use – e-hospital by the NIC (National Informatics Center) and e-sushrut by C-DAC (Advanced Computing Development Center).
National Health Authority (NHA) has been entrusted with the assignment of the implementation of this initiative.
“We request that these activities begin earlier, and need to be followed up can also be done at your level.
We look forward to your sustainable support to make the mission successful,” further words.
