WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday that the United States had mediated an agreement between Johnson & Johnson and the Covax vaccine sharing program to facilitate the delivery of the Covid-19 company vaccine to people who live in the conflict zone.
Blinken announced an agreement at the opening of the Global Foreign Minister’s meeting held by the United States in Pandemi Covid-19.
“We need to ensure that people who cannot be contacted by government vaccination campaigns are not abandoned from our efforts.
They need to be protected too,” Blinken said.
