Thiruvananthapuram: This year’s children’s day stamp will display the look of an old Indian farmer in the fields.
The artist from this picture is Akshay B Pillai is 12 years old.
The photo was chosen for a children’s day stamp from 529 entries.
The selected image will be printed on the stamp brought by the Child Welfare Committee as part of the child’s day celebration this year.
Prizes will be distributed in a function that will be held on November 14.
Akshay is a high school class VII NSS high school, Praculam in Kollam District.

The image was chosen by Nemom Pushparaj, Chair of the Academy Lalithakala.
