New Delhi: Film Actor Kangana Ranaut sparked main anger on Thursday with a statement reported that India obtained freedom in 2014 and what was obtained in 1947 was “alms” as a politician from a different color – starting from BJP Varun Gandhi, Shiv Sena’s Priyanka Chaturvedi for the AAP leader in Mumbai criticized his “anti-national” comment.

He also posted a short clip of Ranaut comment during the news channel program where he was heard said in Hindi, “it was not freedom but ‘Bheekh’ (alms), and freedom came in 2014.” Ranaut, who was recently given Padma Shri, seems to refer to the powerful BJP in 2014.
Awakening him, Gandhi tweeted, “insulting Mahatma Gandhi’s sacrifice anytime, and now underestimates the sacrifice of Mangal Pandey, Rani Lax Mibai, Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad , Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Lakh Freedom Fighters.

The AAP leader in Mumbai, wants a case filed against the actor.
Preeti Party Aadmi Sharma Menon said he had submitted a request to Mumbai police who asked for action against Ranaut for “Hasik statement and inflammation below 504, 505 and 124a”.
While section 504 of IPC transactions “intentional insults with the intention of provoking peace violations”, Section 505 is related to the statement to create “public damage” and 124a with incitement.
