New Delhi: In an effort to facilitate different passengers at the airport and ensure that the security protocol is implemented in a way that maintains their dignity and self-esteem, Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF), in partnership with defective rights groups and the Civil Aviation Security Bureau ( BCAS), has begun training to make airport experiences for free-free uncompromising on security.
At a conference chaired by CISF DG MA Ganapatati is here on Thursday and attended by representatives of the NGOs of Disability Rights 150, BCAS and the Head of Security from all 64 airports guarded by the CISF, it was decided that ‘Swarnim Rent’ – a pilot initiative – A pilot was launched by the Cisf Aviation Security Group at Hyderabad Airport, where the personnel facilitated his laws, senior citizens, and pregnant women directly from the airport entrance and through security checks – will be expanded to all 64 airports guarded by CISF.
Special mobile applications and Helpline numbers will be launched for this.
Also, a committee all stakeholders will be applied at all airports to see problems faced by people with disabilities (PWD).
There will be an increase in focus on training and sensitization of personnel who handle PWD problems and periodic reviews must be made every six months in the target achieved.
The encouragement by the CISF to make PWD friendly airport was present in the background of the recent incident involving actors and different dancers Sudha Chandran.
Chandran in a video statement complained that he felt “humiliated” because it was asked by CISF personnel at Mumbai Airport to eliminate fake limbs.
