Nagpur: MahaMetro Completed the Initial trial Conducted Involving Zero Mile along with Kasturchand Park Channels on Wednesday.
The space of 1km was coated in a rate of 20 mph.
The railway passed by Zero Mile Freedom Park station construction, which is 20 storeyed, situated on the fourth ground, stated MahaMetro at a media release.Special measures were taken from the shape of train backed floating slabs to reduce transmission of vibrations into the construction.
Such attribute doesn’t exist at other metros in the country.This is the initial step towards creating Reach II — Sitabuldi into Automotive Square — functional in December, 2021.
Work on the remaining part of Reach II is happening in full swing.
