Gurgaon: The government Haryana has formed a special task force to provide support in areas left behind in Covid-19 vaccination.
In low coverage districts such as Noah and Palwal, the health team, known as ‘tolist vaccination’ and ‘Prachar Tolis’, will be deployed to campaign and ensure that everyone has received at least their first shot on December 31.
At the video conference chaired by Minister of Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday, all deputy commissioners and immunization officer officers were asked to develop a comprehensive plan to approach people who were not vaccinated in the next five days.
The broad one-week vaccination program will be launched on November 16, under which cellular team will visit villages to invest those who have not received their Jab.
At present, Haryana’s first dose coverage is at 87% while 41% of the total population that meets the state requirements of 2.05 Crore has been fully vaccinated.
“DCS will ensure that an official is deployed in each village and Nodal officers will report to them every night.
There will be a joint daily review of the implementation of plans by DC and civil surgeons and feedback will be shared with a low-performance team.
