Dubai: New Zealand Wiceetkeeper-Dough Devon Conway on Thursday put aside the T20 World Cup final and the next tour in India after injuring his right hand frustrated after his dismissal in the semifinals against England.
Conway has made 46 valuable in Chase of 167 New Zealand on Wednesday.
“Conway suffered an injury when he hit his camouflage immediately after being dismissed in the semi-final victory over England in Abu Dhabi – with X-rays today confirming the rest of the fifth metacarpal right hand,” said New Zealand’s cricket in a statement.
New Zealand faces Australia in the final on Sunday.
Head coach Gary Stead said Conway was used to being destroyed.
“He is really broken to be ruled up like this at this time.
