Chennai: Touring Rain and the flood-affected area on Friday, Minister of Man Chief M K Stalin stopped the convoy and dropped from the vehicle when he saw a group of maintenance workers who were busy working in Kandigai in Kancheepuram Regency, to have conversations with them.
Appreciating their tireless work, challenging heavy rain, Gusty wind and flooding in the last few days, cm asked about their welfare.

Starting his field inspection on flood mitigation work for sixth day in a row, CM visited aid shelter, medical camp and a series of work locations to air the flood area.
After checking the flood mitigation work at Eri Narayanapuram on Ring Ring Road in Chennai, CM reached a help shelter at the Mambakkam Panchayat Uni School in Kancheepuram Regency.
On the way to check the work done at the zero point of the Adyar River, CM stopped at a roadside shop for tea.
He hit a conversation with two staff of women in the shop, who looked amazed and entertained by a friendliness of CM.
They took a selfie with him to appreciate that moment.
When he saw a small child standing nearby, Stalin told him and asked where he was and the school he learned.
After inaugurating a medical camp and checking aid shelter in Mudichur in Kancheepuram Regency, he visited areas flooded.
