Bad road, piles of garbage IRK Gandhi Managar Residents

Written by news2in

Coimbatore: bad roads and overflowing trash cans have made a miserable life for the residents of Gandhi Managar.
After a recent shower, the road conditions have changed from bad to worse, said a Manikanian VOC Nagar.
“Light commercial vehicles are stuck on the road that connects Nehru Nagar and Sujatha Hospital after the wheel caught mud.
It caused traffic barriers.
The vehicle was shifted after two hours,” he said.
The streets in the region need urgent attention, Manikandan said.
“We took this problem to notice Zon officials several times, but no action was taken.
We will protest if the road is not the earliest.” Trash misery disrupts locality, said R Shanthi, another resident.
“When waste is not cleaned regularly, the pile of garbage on the roadside is a common view.
The trash can overflow every day because of the garbage collection to the door that is ineffective,” he said.
“Wild dog packages can be seen near the stack, instilling fear in the mind of residents.
Dogs develop in the area because of a bad waste collection system.
Dogs run after two-wheeled users, causing an accident.” An official at the North Corporate Zone office promised to resolve the issue.
“Garbage and the threat of wild dogs will be handled soon.
But it will take more time to lie down the road.
We will make improvements,” he told TI.
