Ranchi: In one of the biggest achievements in the war against Maois, the Jharkhand police arrested the CPI (Maois) member of Politbiro Kishan Da alias Prashant Bose, who brought RS 1 Crore gift, on Friday from the district of Seraikela.
Bose, now in the mid-70s, has become the main Maois ideology and is a signatory to the Communist Merger Maoist India (MCCI), which operates in North India, and CPIML (People’s War), is active in South India, in September 2004, which leads to the formation of CPI (Maois).
DGP Niraj Sinha said, “We can confirm only when identity is established.”
