New Delhi: Border security has been upgraded in Manipur a day after terrorists ambushed Assam’s rifle convoy and killed the colonel of the Viplav Tripathi army, his wife and son and four personnel.
The massive allowance operation was also underway, carried out together by Assam’s rifle and state police, in the forests around Sekhen Village where the ambush took place on Saturday.
Two groups of terror – People’s Liberation Army and Manipur Front Naga People – have been on Saturday together claiming responsibility for the attack.
Speaking to reporters, Minister of Manipur’s Minister N Biren Singh said the government would not tolerate the terrorist activity in the state and add that security throughout the region of the state border would increase.

RFN Das is a resident of Murshidabad in West Bengal and the RFN Sweater Owned by Bada District in Assam.
RFN Konyak comes from Monday in Nagaland, while RFN M Eena is a dausa district resident in Rajasthan.
