Thane: A man accused of deceiving people in Kolhapur and Aurangabad with the promises of work has been arrested in Thane, a police officer said on Sunday.
Sandeep Dice Kambu (37), a resident of Ghatkopar in Mumbai, was held by the Crime I Branch Team on the night patrol from the Daighar Shil area on Friday and Saturday intervention, said Senior Inspector Deshmukh.
“He was sought in cheating cases in Kolhapur and Aurangabad since 2015.
He used to deceive people by promising their work in the Navy.
There are cases registered with Laxmipuri and Juna Rajwada police station at the Kolhapur Police Station and Kannad in Aurangabad,” he says.
