PATNA: The professional services of 24 unique regional passenger trains which operate on various paths under the authority of the East Central Railway (ECR) will soon be revived by June 5.
They were cancelled with the railways because of bad occupancy speed of passengers aboard an alarming increase in Covid-19 instances in Bihar.
Based on ECR’s main public relations officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar, the Darbhanga-Harnagar (05591/05592) and Darbhanga-Jhanjharpur (05579) DEMU specials will operate from June 5 whereas the Jhajharpur-Darbhanga DEMU particular (05580) will resume its travel by June 6.
Even the Saharsa-Barhara Kothi (05229/05230) along with Barhara Kothi-Banmankhi (05237/05238) DEMU specials will soon begin working from June 5.
The Fatuha-Rajgir MEMU unique (03223/03224) may also restart its support in exactly the identical moment.
In the same way, that the Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction-Dildarnagar (03641/03642), respectively Dildarnagar-Tarighat (03647/03648), respectively Gaya-Kiul (03355/03356), respectively Vaishali-Sonepur (05519/05520) and also Katihar-Sonepur (03367/03368), respectively Katihar-Samastipur (03315/03316) along with Sonepur-Chhapra (05247/05248) specials may operate from June 5.
It can be remembered that the Bihar Daily Passengers’ Organization was demanding restoration of local unique passenger trains from the nation.
